Fortriu

Fortriu are a three‑piece folk band blending Irish traditional music with seafarer songs, featuring Phil Roeterdink on vocals and strings, Graeme Watt on fiddle and pipes, and Ian Cooper on bodhrán and whistles. Formed during the Covid period in Perth, they’ve grown from casual session playing into regular performances across WA, including the 2025 Albany Sea Shanty Festival, drawing on each member’s deep Celtic and folk roots.
