The Tay Bridge Disaster is a presentation in Music, Poetry, Song & Visuals. In late 1878, the worst disaster in Scotland's history took place when the newly-built over the River Taycollapsed in a fearsome storm, taking with it a train with 59 passengers and crew. The bridge was one of the great engineering marvels of the Victorian era. There were no survivors. This carefully researched production comprises historical narrative, specially composed music, songs, poetry and original photographs in a power-point. Please note - this is a multi-media presentation with spoken word, instrumentation and singing.
