The Albany International Folk ’n’ Shanty Festival is back and this year’s Irish theme is bringing more music, merriment and mischief than EVER before.
This is our BIGGEST festival to date – as always, the bulk of the action is entirely FREE and unticketed:
• More shanty groups than any previous year!!!!
• Almost 200 individual artists across the programme
• 10 buzzing venues across Albany’s CBD
• 4 ticketed events
• Shanty singing, folk music, and Irish dance
• Poets’ Breakfast
• Kids’ programme at the Library
• Tug ‘O’ War, Markets, Sessions
