As a once proud and robust nation hauled itself from the scourge of Covid, so a band of men from the Sunset Coast of Western Australia dragged their emaciated frames down to Hillarys Marina one June night in 2023 to form the unstoppable force we now know and love as that weird bunch of shanty singers who consume copious amounts of lager at the Pirate Bar every Monday evening until the barmaid shouts at them to get out!
