Kilty as Charged
Notorious ginger outcasts Jock and Dougal McWiddershins both came to Albany to escape the sunshine so dangerous to their milk white complexions. Separated at birth, Dougal was adopted by a haggis breeder in Ecclefechan, Scotland and younger brother Jock was hauled away to be brought up by a family of itinerant whelk dredgers in boggy Norfolk, England(!). Their recent reunion in Western Australia resulted in some light violence and minor hospitalisation. Whilst recovering in adjoining beds, they found that neither had lost their love of whisky, cold wind up the kilt, deep fried confectionery and the music of their forebears. They have been granted permission by the relevant authorities to perform, under strict supervision, at the Festival for the first time.
